Responsible for the review and validation of models. Works with more experienced analysts to develop and validate moderately complex models and methodologies. Researches best practices and new technologies. Performs model testing and replication and validation of model methodology. Reviews and updates model documentation (methodology guide, user guide, policy documents, etc.). Adheres to and/or ensures the Bank's model risk management efforts meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Performs model testing and replication and validation of model methodology.
  • Reviews and updates model documentation (methodology guide, user guide, policy documents, etc.).
  • Adheres to and/or ensures the Bank's model risk management efforts meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering or equivalent combination of degree and experience. 
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position, including one or more of the following: Probability and Statistics; Finance (time value of money, yield curve); Financial engineering (stochastic processes); Programming skills (Visual Basic, C++, and/or Java). 

Preferred Requirements:

One year work experience in quantitative analysis, preferably more if candidate lacks graduate degree.
