Provides support in the architecture, design, and implementation of security applications and systems, and process recommendations based on short- and long-term security organization strategy. Will focus on the design and integration of multiple security systems and applications of moderate complexity. Provides expertise regarding the integration of security systems and applications across the business. Determines specifications, then plans, designs, and develops security solutions, utilizing appropriate engineering processes-either with cross-functional project teams. Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current architecture methodologies. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging security technologies and possible application to the business. Applies an understanding of key business processes and practical experience to solve a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents. Works under moderate supervision.
Experienced in a number of areas including cloud, APIs, big data, data protection, endpoint protection, identity and access management, encryption, applications, databases, networks, and mobile security.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, CISSP, and 6 years of experience in security architecture and or security engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience translating business needs into long-term security architecture solutions. Knowledge of multiple information security domains and the ability to apply that knowledge in practice. Ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents. Experience participating in large IT projects. Ability to communicate complex information in straight forward situations.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree, CISSP, and 8 years of experience. Knowledge of the following: AWS, cloud migrations, data protection, APIs, DLP, WAF, SQL, OAuth 2.0, SAML, LDAP, 2FA, SCIM, CI/CD, and PKI. Previous banking or financial services experience. Experience supporting a team with solutions architectures in an agile environment. Ability to script using modern scripting languages is a plus.
