Primary responsibilities will include regulatory reporting, accounting, and control activities for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. including all aspects of broker-dealer regulatory reporting and audit requirements; accounting for certain capital markets revenue streams; calculation and reporting of commission expense; and other tasks and special projects. The new teammate will obtain an understanding of the business including the systems, reports, accounting, regulations, and internal controls involved. The new teammate will build a network and maintain open communication with peers and colleagues around the company.
Secondary responsibilities will include preparation of SEC and Fed disclosures; serving as a backup/cross-training on the daily net capital calculation, funding, and revenue share; as well as SOX, Operational, and Compliance control performance, and other risk mitigation procedures. The new teammate would preferably have, or be working toward, CPA licensure, as well begin working toward Series 27 licensure upon arrival. The candidate must be comfortable organizing, leading, and presenting ideas and information in meetings as well as taking the responsibility and initiative to independently drive projects to completion.

- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance.
- Experience in the financial service industry.
- Public Accounting experience
