Job Description

Data Management Analysts facilitate the support of Metadata Maintenance, Data Quality Measurements, Reference Code maintenance and Data Stewardship support. They are the transparent process owners that facilitate diligent management of critical data for the bank.Successful candidates will be registering metadata, building data quality measurement engines, and supporting processes to help Data Office teammates become experts at extracting raw data and transforming that into business critical information. Candidates should be experienced data and process leaders.


Candidates should posses the following experiences and inclinations :

  • Broad technical experience with various data sources like relational databases, flat files, mainframe pds, etc.
  • Solid experience with data management functions and deliverables
  • A drive to create, modify, and lead process change
  • A passion for creating an environment where data is the center for all processes and bringing best practices into play
  • Experience with process management
  • Experience with basic project Management
  • Act as a consultant to teams that need coaching to adapt new processes and techniques
  • Basic understanding of automated controls of computer tasks to extract transform and load data
  • Experience with the delivery of high quality reporting systems


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5 years leadership experience working with a direct or matrixed team
  • Broad knowledge of IT and business functions with experience in corporate business intelligence management and exposure to multiple tools and business intelligence architecture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical applications and reporting tools to meet business objectives
  • Demonstrated understanding of databases and how they work
  • Experience with data management/data governance methods
  • Ability to motivate employees/teams with a strong desire to learn and achieve success through efficient project delivery
  • Ability to develop team members through coaching and feedback, performance evaluation, career development planning and hands-on involvement with staff

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experienced in Agile processes
  • Experience with AbInitio products
  • Experience with WorkFront
