As part of the centralized Consumer Loan Sales Centers, the Client Support Specialist is primarily responsible for effectively assisting internal and external clients via verbal and written methods, by utilizing telephone and email communication. Additional responsibilities may include communicating the loan decisions, status of the loan, scheduling a closing when applicable, as well as educating the client on the benefits of loan utilization. These positions require in-depth knowledge of consumer lending and related products. The teammate must have the ability to resolve all Consumer lending inquiries and preferably have a proven track record of client satisfaction in high volume client contact environment. Qualifications
High school degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of consumer lending products and underwriting process.
2 years’ experience selling, approving or structuring consumer loans. Influencing, customer service, and problem solving skills.
Satisfies regulatory requirements for holding the positions, including determined by SunTrust to meet the qualification standards imposed by the Loan Originator Compensation rule of the Truth in Lending Act.
College Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
Experience with the delivery of consumer loan products through a centralized sales channel.
Bi-lingual not required , but desired
