This position is a multi-level position (SunTrust compensation grades 50, 51 or 52). The successful candidate will be placed in the level which best fits his/her skill set and experience.
Manages risk in the cross-Line of Business (LOB) Credit Line of Business within a region to include Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Private Banking, Private Client Services and other portfolios as designated such as indirect, student lending, factoring, etc., or manages risk within a highly complex specialty unit such as Commercial Real Estate (CRE).
Ensures the quality of the assigned portfolio and of the overall credit process in support of the mutually agreed upon credit/client strategy and growth and profitability objectives.
Generally has been granted a higher level of approval authority than the Credit Risk Officers.
Provides a leadership role in modeling and disseminating the company's credit culture, growth strategy, and talent management objectives.
