Job Description
Responsible for organizing, analyzing, compiling, interpreting and reporting data to improve operating procedures and/or related systems for a function or line of business.  Promotes effective operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance or other methods.  Reviews organizational functions and structure to avoid overlapping or duplication.  Coordinates reports, communications, and proposed changes among various locations and departments.  May have responsibility for one or more of the following:  vendor relationships or evaluation, writing and/or updating procedures, overseeing implementation and/or training for systems and procedures, creating or utilizing databases and reports to maintain and improve operational/data integrity.  Performs analysis of complex procedures.  Recommends and documents improvements to standard practices and procedures and works with others to implement changes.  Knows and applies the fundamental concepts and practices of the area, including linkages with internal and external partners.  May participate in or lead small project teams.


Required Knowledge:
·         Advanced Knowledge of Consumer Lending Products and Services
·         Knowledge of ALS, CMS, RMS
·         Understanding of the Consumer Origination, Operations and Servicing
Required Skills:
·         Project Management – Demonstrated ability to work independently and participate in  multiple, projects concurrently to deliver desired results within desired timeframe and budget using SunTrust project methodology
·         Communication/Presentation – Excellent oral and written communications skills required.  Is timely with information, provides information to the right people so that accurate decisions can be made, can get messages across that have the desired effect, is able to design/write clearly and succinctly
·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Project, Power Point
·         Problem Solving – Solves difficult problems with effective solutions, asks good questions and probes all sources for answers, looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answer
·         Detail Oriented – Work must be produced error free the first time with little waste or the need to re-do
Required Education or Certification:
·         3 to 5 years Consumer Lending experience
·         College degree or comparable work experience
