Responsible for producing and growing profitable banking relationships with commercial or residential developers or investors. Generates new primary relationships, as well as meets the financial services needs of present clients. Cross-sells other bank services to clients, as appropriate. Keeps abreast of trends, developments and current regulations in the industry and in local markets. Reports to Commercial Real Estate Team Leader or LOB Manager.
Typically has 5 to 15 years experience in commercial real estate lending and credit. Assists in training or coaching lower level Relationship Managers. Provides strong leadership in peer group. Continually seeks and shares knowledge of best practices. Qualifications
Requirements: Demonstrates ability to successfully manage loan portfolio size of over $100MM or more, with deposits generally more than $20MM. Is proficient at a variety of real estate loan types and product types, including more complex structures. Is fully knowledgeable about a broad array of banking products and services. Ensure borrower’s cash flow, financial covenants and credit quality is maintained. Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent commercial real estate banking experience. Prefer graduate of a Wholesale Banking Training Program OR equivalent experience in commercial real estate sales and credit.
