The Participant Education Consultant is a strategic advisor who anticipates his clients' needs and proactively presents his clients with an education strategy that is expected to motivate employees to take the necessary steps to move from financial stress to confidence. The ability to perform this role is due to the Education Consultant’s academic credentials, industry certifications and prior work experience. The primary role of the Education Consultant is to conduct enrollment, on-going education and pre-retirement seminars for assigned relationships. In addition to group meetings, the Education Consultant will schedule individual meetings which allow employees to ask specific questions with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to take immediate action. During these personal interactions, the Education Consultant will review the employees' short and long-term needs, income replacement projections, current investments and savings rate to determine whether or not they are on track to meet their financial goals.Qualifications
Must have a Series 7 license and Series 63 or 66 and has maintained continuing education coursework to keep license and/or registrations in good standing.
Must be fluent in Spanish
Four (4) years experience in investments, portfolio management, wealth management, trusts, and brokerage or advisory services in a financial services organization.
Must possess excellent presentation skills, poise, and language skills to lead group discussions. (Will be required to conduct a presentation) Ability to travel 50% to 75% of the time.
Ability to work independently
Preferred Requirements in addition to minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
