The Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for fully supporting two Senior Investment Advisors and an existing team of high performing professionals in our Nashville Practice and their $5 billion book of institutional clients in all aspects of the Practice delivering discretionary asset management services. They work autonomously and as part of an extremely high functioning, high growth team to conduct input and analysis on active and passive traditional and alternative investment strategies, global asset allocation, attribution analysis, risk analysis and performance measurement and reporting.
The Portfolio Specialist provides support to Business Development Officers and internal partners for the growth and support of the Practice. The role will assist in the research, analysis and preparation for prospective clients, internal reports, market analysis, white papers and special projects. They will proactively engage and work directly on a daily basis with the team in the Nashville Practice to learn and support all aspects of the client relationships, investment process, reporting requirements and preferences of the team and clients.
The role leverages an ability to utilize a variety of software and analytic tools and a complete understanding of client investment strategy, portfolio construction, benchmarks, manager due diligence and selection, risk and quantitative analysis, asset allocation modeling within the Efficient Frontier framework, Investment Policy Statements, spending policies, along with expert knowledge of ongoing and changing global market environments through internal and external information sources.

In addition, the Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for preparation of timely and accurate monthly and quarterly client investment performance review presentations compiled using holdings and performance information from multiple internal and third party sources.
· Undergraduate degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, math Demonstrated ability to evaluate and manage large quantities of statistical data

· High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Morningstar, Factset, Zypher
· 3-5 years portfolio specialist and/or investment advisory experience
· CFA Charterholder or working towards become a CFA Charterholder.
· Highly articulate with ability to explain complex financial information to clients and prospects
