The Commercial Card Specialist (CCS) position has primary responsibilities for providing client service support for Commercial Card clients over the telephone and via email.  In our enhanced process / service implementation approach, we require more consultative client-facing skills.  This position is focused on responding to client Program Administrators, not cardholders. In addition to card administration inquiries from Program Administrators, CCSs provide Tier 1 level support for Enterprise Spend Platform, our web-based card administration system.  Additional responsibilities include maintenance of accounts on our processing platform (FDR), documenting client cases in and liaison between client; Card Program Officers, Card Technology Officers, Card Sales Officers, Treasury Sales Officers, Relationship Managers; Bankcard System Support and Fulfillment as well as third party vendors.  Commercial Card Specialists are also expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement of documentation and procedures within the card client service group as needed.  Possess the ability to organize, plan and meet deadlines. Should be able to solve client problems independently 95% of time.  Is proactive in learning and developing new skill sets, especially with new products and features.  Supports the most complex clients and functions. 

Basic Requirements:
  • 1 - 2 years banking/financial services experience with a solid understanding of corporate/treasury management products and services and/or related financial background
  • Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications with ability to speak on telephone while successfully performing inquiries and/or updates to system applications
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in client facing job positions
  • Attention to detail with experience in quality and time critical job environments
  • Work hours 9am-6pm M-F 
Preferred Requirements:
  • 3 - 5 years general banking/financial services experience
  • 3 years treasury management experience
  • Project management skills with ability to manage multiple short-term implementation projects
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Internet, browsers and PC environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting
