SunTrust's Commercial Enablement & Operations team in Atlanta currently has an opening for a Strategic Program Specialist. The Specialist leads or supports Strategic Programs that enable Commercial Banking’s (“CBB”) strategic objectives.
Work with Domain Leads to develop, manage and maintain a demand management process that will consume, evaluate and prioritize requests for work to the Enablement & Operations team. This process should ensure our activities are aligned to the CBB strategy, meeting clients’ needs, improving the client experience and increasing shareholder value.
Mature the demand management process to provide regular transparency into capacity, prioritization and initiative status to CBB senior leadership.
Responsible for creating detailed project work plans, managing activities and deliverables against plan, reviewing draft output, and providing feedback/coaching to project team members.
Example programs are not limited to but include client segmentation strategy; client delivery channel and servicing strategy; strategic planning and national expansion.
Example activities for strategic initiatives such as national expansion would include facilitating: market opportunity assessment, legal due diligence, talent identification, finance implications, support structure design, out of footprint client experience considerations, partner implication such as T&PS/Credit, ongoing enhancements to support growth, etc.
Works with stakeholders to develop strategies & provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis is required. Includes identification of tactics and development of business cases to support such strategies.
Develop a feedback framework to capture and assess voice of the client, market and teammate to inform initiative feasibility, client experience journeys, opportunities to meet incremental needs and/or improve the service experience.
Responsible for highly complex, high impact projects within a line of business at the corporate level or a corporate function.
Wholesale/Commercial Banking experience strongly preferred, prior project management experience, MBA, Highly effective communicator, partner, and analyst of strategic initiatives.
