Handles inbound teller transactions from SunTrust clients and non-clients received via video from an Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) in accordance with established policies and procedures. (Teller Connect Representatives are located in contact center not branches). Completes complex Teller transactions and demonstrates competency with all Teller application transactions and processing Teller operations. Completes operational functions such as approving transactions, cash control, security and internal control. Identifies Sales referrals and makes appropriate referrals on personal products and services to STOLI Sales Representatives, Mortgages, Investments, Trust, Merchant Services, Personal and Private Bankers and Small Business Banking. Makes an active attempt to cross-sell the full range of bank products and services to meet customers’ needs. Utilizes effective sales and telephone techniques to build customer relationships. Meets sales and scorecard goals. Completes all required documentation to meet client needs. Requires advanced Teller and basic sales and client service skills.
Completes complex Teller transactions and demonstrate competency with all teller application transactions and processing teller operations, in addition to the Teller Connect Teller Now application used to interact with clients. Ensures adherence to bank policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act. Uses multiple systems for client authentication, information gathering/validation and processing business as usual, as well as exception transaction. Identifies and appropriately reacts to sales referral opportunities for personal banking products and services. Demonstrates mastery of technology used in daily teller transactions. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience as a Teller III at SunTrust Bank or two years experience at a comparable financial institution, or three years retail service and sales experience.
- Good communications skills in a face-to-face client environment and be comfortable being on camera and interacting with clients virtually through video transmission.
