Responsible for the overall management of the T&PS CML Metro/Regional sales team (including business development and retention, talent management, portfolio pricing, risk management and compliance) to ensure strategic sales objectives are met, revenue and profit goals are achieved, and sales results are appropriately reported. Responsible for the selection, training, development, and evaluation of the teammates supervised. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with all Line of Business partners. Combined portfolio of $543MM.
Responsibilities also includes:
· Direct the formulation and execution of the selling strategy and strategic sales program for all T&PS products and services to CML clients.
· Oversees pipeline management for CML Metro/Regional sales team. Leads complex deals and manages the most complex relationships.
· Partners with lines of business (EIS, TOPS) to develop solutions for clients.
· Talent development (recruit, retain, engage).
High degree of autonomy in developing critical strategies that will drive CML Metro/Regional T&PS revenue. Capable of balancing daily operational excellence while planning for future dynamics, all while providing leadership through example and team building. Major investment decisions and/or those having significant teammate impact require effective influencing and syndication with executive leadership. This leader will also be expected to drive broader thought leadership in support of peers within T&PS. Strong Leadership, influence and executive gravitas are the soft skills and overriding key elements for this role. Must possess a unique leadership style that encourages followership and teamwork. Must be able to effectively influence across peers and executives (LOB business partners).
In addition, this person must be able to drive significant cultural and behavioral change and lead across functional teams (Sales, Product, Business Enablement). This person will be required to make compelling recommendations to Executive-Level leaders.Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters Degree (MBA)
10 years of demonstrated success in Treasury Management sales management or 15 years of experience in Treasury Management sales or related financial services management
10 years experience in team selling with a deal team concept
5 years of management or supervisory experience.
