Reporting to the HR Agile Team Leader, this role is a member of the HR Agile Team focused on executing high priority HR and business initiatives with human capital components in a collaborative environment. This position will be responsible for driving executional excellence and value realization against a suite of HR Agile projects, with a focus on research and analytics while working in close connection with other HR Agile Consultants. We believe that seeing processes through the lens of our teammates is the best way to uncover the right problems to solve with SunTrust’s Purpose in mind. This position is based at SunTrust’s headquarters in downtown Atlanta.

Key responsibilities include:
Accelerate business value through collaboration in the entire HR Agile process: Project Identification & Intake; Data Collection & Design Thinking Preparation; Sprint Execution & Iteration; Deliverable Creation & Handoff
Ensure the teammate is at the center of all HR Agile projects by leading teammate user-experience research efforts to create personas and identifying teammate pain points and unmet needs
Be a champion of research practices and user-centered design throughout HR and the company
Collaborate with HR Agile Team and Project Owners/Sponsors to identify research opportunities
Define the design thinking research methodologies and lead the execution of user research
Generate insights that influence solution strategy, design, and prioritization
Inspire stakeholders with creative and compelling presentation of research results and findings
Participate in sprint sessions to ensure research findings are integrated into the overall program/project strategy and approach
Work within HR Agile Team to co-create teammate solutions that answer identified opportunities
Enable the rapid iteration and delivery support for HR Agile projects by working flexibly and adjusting mid-stream as needed to meet business goals
Champion HR Agile throughout HR and the business to support the identification of ongoing initiatives for the improvement of cross-HR processes and strategies
Build/deepen agile and design thinking capabilities, resources, and accelerators for use across HR and human capital business areas 
Position team and self to create value and solve problems in an iterative manner
Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated events
Foster partnerships and work collaboratively across all stakeholders enterprise-wide
Demonstrate creative problem solving and judgment/decision making and ability to perform well in a fluid environment
Complete work based on key milestones and success criteria which actively engaging with the team and partner groups to evaluate progress against work
Summarize progress, risks, issues, and other required metrics to HR Agile Lead and HR SLT (and business leaders as appropriate)

Qualifications

This is a multi-level position, compensation grades 48 or 49. The successful candidate will be placed in the level which best fits his/her skill set and experience. 


Qualifications:

5-7+ years of proven business experience

Ability to synthesize data from various sources to tell a story  

Command over a wide range of qualitative methods and quantitative concepts

Teammate focused mindset with a curiosity and desire to get to the heart of any issue and seek improvements

Excellent at time management and balancing multiple priorities 

Ability to pivot/adjust in-the-moment as needed to meet the needs of our partners

Ability to embrace the unknown and have courage to fail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in I/O Psychology, HCI, Social Science, Information Science, etc

Work experience in an innovation lab

Proficient in Microsoft Publisher and Visio
