Provides support in the architecture, design, and implementation of network security capabilities and related enterprise infrastructure projects. Determines specifications, requirements, use cases, plans, designs, and develops network security solutions, utilizing appropriate engineering processes with cross-functional project teams. Will provide recommendations based on short- and long-term security organization strategy. Provides expertise regarding the integration of network security systems and across the business. Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current network architecture methodologies. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging security technologies and possible application to the business. Provide future state architectures to ensure secure network architectures.
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in infrastructure management with a focus on architecture or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Demonstrated proficiency defining the highly complex technology planning strategies for all domain objectives, architectural principles, goals and standards across the business.
Advanced knowledge of architecture principles.
Specialized and/or broad functional knowledge.
Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices.
Ability to lead complex projects.
Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective.
Master’s degree or MBA and 12 years of experience.
Deep knowledge and experience designing infrastructure.
Banking or financial services experience.
Experience designing distributed applications, including global load balancing and caching techniques.
Experience with hybrid solutions mixing use of private data center and public cloud.
Experience or working knowledge of modern development, test and deployment models.
Demonstrated expertise in a broad array of systems and network security technical controls and processes (e.g., identity & access management, network access control, system hardening, network segmentation, incident response, intrusion prevention, DDOS mitigation, threat intelligence, etc.).
Highly effective communication skills, in both verbal and written form, to effectively convey technical and non-technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences.
Relevant information security certifications a plus (i.e. CISSP, CISM,etc.).
