Compliance Specialist, Wholesale Banking 

The Wholesale Banking Compliance Specialist performs functions in support of compliance operations relating to the Wholesale lines of business and product groups.

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for conducting and participating in activities such as regulatory risk reviews, monitoring, and generation of test scripts. The Compliance Specialist will execute and support third party compliance risk assessments, complaints analysis, training administration and reviews of business change initiatives.  The specialist will act independently and as part of teams, that will include engagement with compliance managers, business managers, operations and technology representatives, risk administrators and other functions. Furthermore, the specialist will support issue investigations, root cause analysis and action plan remediation; and regulatory inquiries, examinations, and other compliance program activities.  

Minimum Requirements: College degree. 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or the financial services industry in areas such as banking, broker dealer, legal, audit, or risk management; or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fluid environment, and to work both independently and as a member of a team. 

Preferred Requirements:  MBA or advanced degree.  5+ years of regulatory compliance experience. Wholesale banking compliance experience. Exam management and control & process monitoring experience. Demonstrated experience with regulatory agencies and knowledge of legal and organizational matters and the ability to apply knowledge to issues of all levels of complexity. Ability to organize, direct, and perform highly complex analysis and tasks. Interpret complex laws and regulations.
