Manage projects of varying levels of complexity, scope and risk in accordance to the project approach, structure, and charter in order to support the successful implementation of new applications and systems based on business and client objectives.  Apply project management methodology and standards to project activities in order to meet client's business expectations. Utilize expertise and leadership skills to direct staff, set project priorities, resolve issues, and to ensure project goals and requirements are met according to the timeline.
 
Manage multiple large or complex projects in order to support the successful implementation of new applications and systems based on business and client objectives. Ensure adherence to project management methodology and standards. Exercise a leadership role, assemble a project team, identify appropriate resources, and develop a schedule to ensure timely completion of project within defined time-lines, budget controls and quality standards.  Develop planning and implementation methodologies, working with project team, external consultants, and vendors as necessary. Monitor milestones, adjusting plans and resources as needed.  May lead/mentor less experienced staff on complex projects in area of expertise.  Responsible for delivery and analysis of status reporting to management; summarizing resource utilization as well as how project plans are performing against critical schedules, budgets, quality and risk. 

Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
 
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.  6 years progressive work related experience including 3 years managing IT projects. Demonstrated proficiency in IT terminology, systems, and processes.  Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining project information and status to management, staff, and vendors.  Possess strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team performing multiple assignments in a rapidly changing environment. Project management experience from beginning through execution for multiple large or complex projects. Demonstrate proficiency in managing projects that have enterprise-wide implications as well as a highly technical complexity.  Experience reporting to management the status of projects as they track against phase review objectives, schedule, budget and risk
 
  
Preferred Requirements
 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.  Technical proficiency in two or more of the following; mainframe hardware/software, client server hardware/software, hardware/software deployment, application development, change management. PMP Certification.
