Serving as the primary resources, responsible for providing strategic sales support to T&PS Sales Officers (TSOs) and Relationship Managers/Bankers from other related LOBs. Directly supports new business generation through the development of proposals, presentations, proformas, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs). Also performs extensive data analysis of client and portfolio metrics to uncover sales opportunities and prepares relationship reviews for key clients on a selective basis in order to assist in managing profitability. May also participate in other sales related key initiates, including but not limited to cross-sell identification and origination, calling activities, coordination of implementations, and support for risk/legal/compliance-related initiatives.
Responsible for preparing sales tools and exhibits, such as presentations (internal and external), proposals, proformas, client schematics, relationship reviews, etc. Develops customized responses to RFPs and RFIs, including the collaboration with TSOs and/or RMs/Bankers from other LOBs to complete Executive Summary and establishment of exception pricing. Supports pricing/re-pricing initiatives by partnering with Account Pricing team to ensure existence of exception pricing for respective client accounts, and performing system inputs of approved exception pricing. Reviews account analysis statements for designated clients, and manages required client communications and/or corrections. Performs data-mining of sales/retention opportunities, and prepares consolidated presentation of service usage/profitability information. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and partners with TSOs to develop portfolio growth strategy. Participates in certain pre-call planning sessions for complex and/or multi-service sales pitches as need by preparing information, attending in person, and handling post-call follow-up information requests. Works closely with clients and Implementation team to coordinate supporting implementations on behalf of Sales team by obtaining/entering client requirements into PASSPORT system, facilitating meetings, informing escalated issues, and processing non-standard client requests once approved.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Knowledge of Treasury & Payment Solutions, including product features and benefits.
- 1 years of work experience in financial services or banking industry.
- 3 years of sales/sales support and/or direct client contact experience
