Responsible for basic setup, testing, validating and reporting procedures, communication and adaptation to changing environments. Provides basic level of technical support, must have a flexible work schedule. Utilizes basic knowledge of application and system components, testing methodologies & associated procedures. Acquires additional knowledge by attending training sessions, completing online tutorials, and hands-on work. Utilizes basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (NOT including Access). Executes pre-written scripts and write basic scripts based on need with the basic understanding of tool chest used for validating software and utilizes basic knowledge of testing procedures for validating specific functionality and adherence to procedural requirements. Provides step-by-step procedures for replication of defects and/or anomalies. Demonstrates basic decision-making ability and the ability to make appropriate decisions within scope of authority. Uses sound judgment when making decision and determines when escalation is appropriate. Effectively communicates with peers and management and has basic leadership abilities.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Develops complex reports or provides program development for PC or mainframe applications
  • Has solid knowledge of LAN & software/hardware to be able to install or program applications and be able to identify and assess hardware/ software products
  • Is able to diagnose and resolve complex user problems and train users
  • Has a thorough knowledge of the business unit and all applications used
  • Typically requires more than 2-3 years of technical experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate degree with an emphasis in accounting/finance or 4 years equivalent relevant work experience in retail banking operations environment
  • 2 years of PFP+ experience
  • Working knowledge of on-line systems and banking regulations. 
  • Strong PC skills including working knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation setups
  • Experience in research, problem determination, and issue resolution
  • Experience with SunView Treasury Manager, Online Treasury Manager (OTM), Online Courier (OLC), Online Cash Manager (OCM), Money Transfer System (MTS), Online ACH Control (OAC), PEP+ (ACH) , Online Check Deposit (OCD), Enterprise Spend Platform (ESP), Business Sweeps  and Consumer Digital Applications
  • Knowledge of bank systems such as XPTR, OBIQ, ALM and PASSPORT
  • Detailed knowledge of SWIFT and FedWire industries (including background, processing, setups, etc.)
  • Experience in software testing
