Job Description Summary: Provides direct client service as part of a relationship management team. Serves as first point of contact for the client and has autonomy to resolve a wide range of issues. Stays abreast of product and procedural changes, market trends and promotions, and new products and services. Determines appropriate SunTrust accounts and products for the client. Responsible for client retention and service excellence. Recognizes relationships at risk and notifies the appropriate client representative.
This role requires the processing of residential loan applications and money wires for select clients. In addition, bank account opening and closings, credit card application input and other communications to clients as needed.
Provides servicing of banking products to SEG clients. Participates in key client interactions (in-person and via phone) to profile and recommend deposit and loan products/services. Opens accounts and/or refers client to other lines of business and coordinates banking and lending processes. Ensures applications and all associated documentation is obtained from clients. Takes applications for HELOC and communicate rate/terms to clients or you can add the communicate rate/terms. Stays abreast of product and procedural changes, market trends and promotions, and new products and services.
Ensures that appropriate continuing education requirements are met where needed. Must also maintain a thorough knowledge of professional sports player contracts as well as have knowledge of the music and film industries and their complexitiesQualifications
Minimum Requirements: 3 years client support experience in the financial services industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish. Solid Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills. Well organized and flexible; able to adapt to change as well as determine and focus on top priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Demonstrates proficiency with complex documents and client servicing.
Is registered and maintains active, SunTrust sponsored registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR) and has been assigned a unique identifier number in compliance with the federal S.A.F.E. Act requirements.
Satisfies regulatory requirements for holding the position, including determined by SunTrust to meet the qualification standards imposed by the Loan Originator Compensation rule of the Truth in Lending Act.
Preferred Requirements for either: Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Investment, trust, or other wealth management product knowledge.
