On the SunTrust Mortgage Consumer Direct team, we take home mortgages personally. We make sure we’re accessible to the client by phone, email or online. We want to make absolutely sure our clients get the mortgage that’s right for them, so we talk to them about it. Our process is all about helping our clients feel good about their mortgage decision. Who knew conversation could make things so much easier?
What you’ll do
  • Get to know the lending and financial needs of our clients

  • Guide clients to the right solution for their home lending needs while working in a call center setting

Basic Qualifications:


What you’ll need
  • Two years of mortgage origination, call center or proven professional sales experience
  • Impressive success in meeting the needs of clients
  • The knowledge and drive to make home ownership possible for thousands of people to include mortgage product knowledge, excellent telephone and written communication skills, computer skills, exposure to automated underwriting systems/credit scoring and attention to detail.
  • Eligible to manage or perform loan origination or servicing functions under Mortgage Investor or government agency guideline requirements.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging goals
  • Passion, self-motivation and a competitive spirit
  • Registered and active in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR)
