Contact assigned clients via telephone, to assess client needs, conduct a cash cycle conversation, generate revenue from client accounts, improve profit from these accounts, and improve service excellence scores. Returns client calls, solves complex servicing issues and refers to management team as appropriate. Asks for referrals to generate leads for the Business Banking Relationship Managers. Documents loan opportunities, manages or coordinates the loan approval process depending upon credit requests. Determines appropriate referral opportunity of larger credits to the Small Business Administration Business Development Officer or the Business Banking Relationship Manager.
- High school diploma.
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience of banking/financial products with direct experience of telephone sales in the financial industry.
- In-depth knowledge of business banking products, banking sales process and cycle, understanding how a business operates and its cash flow requirements, and general knowledge of financial statements and tax returns.
- Ability to maintain a business client relationship and build client loyalty.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years or more of sales experience of banking/financial products or solutions including phone sales and relationship management experience.
