Provides an industry leading client service experience through supporting the growth of existing Consumer client relationships via outbound phone calling.  Receives leads for outbound calls and utilizes effective sales techniques to uncover client's needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions, including deposit and credit solutions.  Makes referrals to other business partners for additional business growth opportunities.  Partners include, but are not limited to:  Mortgage, Investments, Wealth, Trust, Merchant Services, Branch Bankers, and Business Banking.  Also receives referrals from Bank or Mortgage to follow up with the client. Delivers on the SunTrust Purpose by assisting clients in moving from stress to confidence. Supports sales goals tied to consumer products and services. Coordinates HELOC closings with branch teammates and clients.



Qualifications
Banking Specialist 1:

Minimum Requirements:
Advanced problem solving skills and solid sales technique. Fully proficient in the sale of all bank products and services. Comfortable with consumer lending and application process. Satisfies regulatory requirements for holding the position, including meeting the qualification standards imposed by the Loan Originator Compensation rule of the Truth in Lending Act. High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to support multiple client needs at the same time. Proficient typing and PC skills. Experience identifying sales opportunities and/or selling products and services. Minimum 1 year sales experience.


Preferred Requirements:
Basic knowledge of SunTrust products, services, and processes. Familiar with client facing sales and service tools. Able to consistently uncover sales opportunities and align them with client needs. College degree or equivalent work experience. Experience identifying sales opportunities and/or selling products and services. Minimum 1 year Contact Center sales experience.

Banking Specialist 2:

Minimum Requirements:
2 years of banking experience. Advanced knowledge and ability in selling bank products and services. Assists other Sales Relationship Representatives with questions. Satisfies regulatory requirements for holding the position, including meeting the qualification standards imposed by the Loan Originator Compensation rule of the Truth in Lending Act. High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to support multiple client needs at the same time. Proficient typing and PC skills. 1 year sales experience.

Maintains a top performance level in sales production. Ability to provide coaching to other outbound reps. Ability to devise and implement best practices to identify client solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to support multiple client needs at the same time. Proficient typing and PC skills. 1 year sales experience.
