The Wholesale Risk Centralized Lending team currently has an opening for a Portfolio Manager supporting the $5MM to $10MM hub. The location for this role will be in one of the CLU sites in Richmond, Orlando or Atlanta. The PM Performs an active, direct, client contact role. Responsible for underwriting, structuring and documenting all client transactions below the centralized commercial credit threshold within Commercial and Business Banking. Accountable for and manages assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends, proactively defining client credit solutions, identifying issues and developing remediation. Underwrite structure and document all new client transactions and requests below designated threshold, under the supervision of a Geographic Relationship Manager (GRM) or senior Portfolio Manager. Conduct portfolio management activities such as completing annual reviews and renewals, modifications, routine monitoring, reporting, and maintenance of active accounts in a centralized environment, in support of assigned portfolio. Level 1 Portfolio Manager focus is on transactions of low size, risk and/or complexity.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience - Knowledge of accounting
Foundational understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flows
Strong analytical and technical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze complex issues, identify and execute on practical solutions
Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
Minimum 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, loan structuring, underwriting and /or portfolio administration.
