Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-60 clients who are primarily Reserve, defined as clients with total investable assets > $5MM, total net worth > $15MM or individual annual client revenue of $50k or greater. Target clients should have a minimum of $5MM of AUM on us and the advisor’s total portfolio revenue should generate a minimum of $3MM of recurring revenue from investment assets under management. Total book revenue should be >$5MM in revenue.
Proactively provides comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions including, but not limited to, strategic asset allocation recommendations, multi-generational estate and tax planning, cash flow analysis and budgeting, and credit and risk management. Also able to articulate tactical adjustments for client investment portfolios.
Builds multi-generational relationships with client families, providing estate and financial planning advice, next-generation education, legacy planning as well as advising on philanthropic and charitable goals of family.
Acquires a significant percentage of new business from outside the SunTrust franchise by having a well established reputation as a top advisor in market, by being very active in the community and by ability to comfortably prospect in target market. Develops strong, mutually beneficial relationships with referral sources and centers of influence. Is very skilled at generating referrals from existing clients.Qualifications
Knowledge, Education, Certification, Licenses
Required: Bachelor’s Degree with CFP designation or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of investment, estate and tax planning, credit and risk management, financial planning and cash flow analysis, and partners with other STI teammates for implementation of solutions. Advanced knowledge of the comprehensive suite of Wealth Management financial solutions and products.
Preferred: MBA, CPA or JD.
