J.D. from an accredited law school, excellent academic credentials and current member in good standing with Georgia or other state bar.
A minimum of 4-8 years’ major law firm or sophisticated in-house experience in commercial lending with an emphasis on drafting and negotiating complex loan and collateral documents.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with particular emphasis on client communication and interaction.
Well-organized self-starter able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously as well the associated pressure of handling multiple competing deadlines.
Able to work independently, but in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills and ability to balance business needs with legal risks.
Strong negotiation skills.
Enthusiastic self-starter and team player with One Team approach and Client First attitude.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience in one or more of the following areas considered helpful: tax-exempt, not-for-profit and/or municipal financing, letters of credit, auto-dealer financing, workouts/bankruptcy.
Bar Membership in Florida a plus
Experience working in a technology-driven environment preferably with a large commercial lending institution.
